Learn Ayurveda: Enhance Immunity: Today is the time when Covid -19 has made our lives so stressful. I am sure you all are taking good care of your selves. But I realized that apart from doing regular meditations and physical activity if we all use Vedic knowledge to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19. we can surely overcome this critical time.
Do you know, Ayurvedic knowledge is called “Mother of All Healings” And the best part is that through kitchen ingredients, and with little awareness we can prevent the disease and then maintain our health by balancing our unique dosha.
So the first step towards Ayurveda is to reflect on your Dosha means fault or impurity in your mind-body type…Â
The Three Doshas
Each individual is born with a fixed composition of elements mainly Ether, Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. And these elements form three senses of humor in the body known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
According to Ayurveda, everyone is born with a mixture of Three Doshas. And all the doshas consist of five elements, but each is predominantly composed of two elements.
1. Vata – Air + Ether
2. Pita – Fire + Water
3. Kapha – Water + Earth
Determining your primary dosha is the first step towards finding your optimal state of balance. If Tridoshas are balanced, they maintain harmonious psychophysiology.
The moment they go out of balance, then they become dosha. Therefore, dosha is that which if gets impaired, then affects the bodily tissues, leading to disease.
Therefore I am sharing a simple way to check your Dosha. As once you get to know your Dosha then you can move towards balancing your unique dosha
Find Your Dosha
So download the self-evaluation chart above, just put a tick-mark on the attributes you resonate with.
Then put them in descending order, like this…..:
1. Vata – 5 traits
2. Pita – 3 traits
3. Kapha – 2 traits
So in this case you are Vata dominant, then follows Pitta and Kapha. What type do you resonate with most?
Now you know which is your dominant dosha
Learn Ayurveda: Make it simple
Check your Vata Dosha now. And if imbalanced, start following the suggestions. Isn’t it super easy!!
And say No to Anxiety and Fears! I know it’s tough but believe me, once you realize that even anxiety when controlled on time, can be so helpful in managing your Vata level.
Balance your Vata Dosha
Ayurveda says if the Vata Dosha is imbalanced, then our body gets extremely dry, and can cause acute body aches, dryness in the nose, weakness, and can also cause anxiety, and restlessness. And these are the common symptoms of Covid -19
Now if we increase the Agni level, our body gets the strength to fight against diseases be it mental or physical. In fact, if Agni is strong, a person never falls ill. Agni can be increased by doing regular meditations and doing physical activity.  Â
Remember that the only Antidote to Vata dosha is Relaxation, so stop worrying and follow the passion of your life.
